Waar is on the edge of Vår Skov, a big forrest and has a fantastic
view of the Limfjord as well as a path leading directly to the water.
The little village of Farstrup is 2 kilometers away. It has a grocer and a post-office
There are also a lot of places to go fishing both in the Limfjord, in small rivers and
in "put and take" lakes.

Himmerland’s Golf and Country Club,
Løgstør Golf Club and Sebber Kloster Golf Club
The market towns of Nibe and Løgstør are both 13 kilometers away and it takes
half an hour to Aalborg by car.
The North Sea with the best beaches in Denmark is within a distance of
25 kilometers. A lot of people use Waar as a starting point when visiting
Skagen and Legoland.
A few of the nearest tourist attractions are: the Monastery of Vitskøl, the
small island Livø, the old Viking Town of Sebbersund and the beautiful moors of Himmerland.
